Little Details

A while ago, my youngest kiddo brought home some little flowers and leaves they had picked up on the way home from school.

This is not a new thing. They used to do this almost daily when they were younger and the habit remains. I would stick them in between two sheets of paper and a heavy book and then stick them into a little notebook. I’ve been searching for that notebook for ages and I can’t find it.

My other kiddo got me a little mini flower press as a Christmas gift last year, so I had the perfect excuse to use it!

I took them out carefully from the blotting paper today and I love the delicate nature and tiny details you can see in a different light when flowers are pressed.
